Leader Ruskon-Mordovia delivered the thirteenth victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked Dynamo-CBK (3-13) 108-62 in Saransk. Ruskon-Mordovia dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Dynamo-CBK's 34 and made 36-of-41 free shots (87.8 percent) during the game, while Dynamo-CBK only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Ruskon-Mordovia forced 22 Dynamo-CBK turnovers and outrebounded them 37-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of center Vladimir Lidyaev (203-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and forward Alexey Nazarov (202-92) who added 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Igor Kaytnov (193-90) responded with 21 points and forward Aleksey Ostrovskiy (202-93) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Ruskon-Mordovia (13-1) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Newly promoted Ruskon-Mordovia maintains first position. Dynamo-CBK lost fourth consecutive game. Dynamo-CBK at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth place with 13 games lost. Ruskon-Mordovia will meet at home Arsenal (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Dynamo-CBK will play against Cheboksari and hope to secure a win.
