Regular Season Round 11: Atomeromu - Marso NYKK 86-70

A Division top team - Atomeromu (9-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat twelfth ranked Marso NYKK (3-8) in Paks 86-70. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Atomeromu outrebounded Marso NYKK 49-33 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a quality performance for power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Troy Barnies (200-89, college: Maine) accounted for 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Tate Unruh (193-90, college: N.Colorado, agency: Inception Sports) came up with 22 points and 5 steals and guard Malcolm Miller (198-91, college: Southern, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Marso NYKK in the defeat. Four Marso NYKK players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Atomeromu have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-2 record, which they share with Szolnok. Marso NYKK at the other side keeps the twelfth position with eight games lost. They share it with MAFC. Atomeromu will play against ZTE KK (#5) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round. Marso NYKK will play at home against Alba (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
