Tenth-ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (3-6) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Sakhalin (8-1). The visitors from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk managed to secure only two-point victory 85-83. However their fans expected much easier game. Ural Ekaterinburg was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch.
