Regular Season Round 12: Kaposvari - Jaszberenyi 95-80

Date: December 19, 2015
The game with biggest result difference took place in Kaposvar. Local Kaposvari (4-7) beat 14th ranked Jaszberenyi (2-11) 95-80. The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. Jaszberenyi was better in second period 29-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Jaszberenyi 35-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Croatian guard Hrvoje Puljko (193-83, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who scored that evening 28 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) supported him with 22 points and 7 assists. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by American center Garrick Sherman (210-90, college: Notre Dame) did not help to save the game for Jaszberenyi. His fellow American import point guard Travis Cohn (188-89, college: Jacksonville) added 19 points. Kaposvari maintains eleventh position with 4-7 record. Jaszberenyi lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. Kaposvari's next round opponent will be higher ranked Sopron KC (#7) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Jaszberenyi will play against PVSK Pannon (#8) in Pecs and hope to win that game.
