Regular Season Round 10: Atomeromu - UNIQA Eurol. 72-80

A Division top team - MKB Euroleasing (8-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Atomeromu (4-6) in Szekszard 80-72. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Atomeromu won third quarter 24-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MKB Euroleasing made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Croatian point guard Iva Ciglar (167-85, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 22 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Zsofia Fegyverneky (178-84, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American center Jade Barber (191-89, college: E.Kentucky) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and guard Agnes Studer (169-98) scored 11 points and 5 assists. MKB Euroleasing have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-2 record, which they share with UNI Gyor. Atomeromu at the other side keeps the seventh place with six games lost. MKB Euroleasing will play against BEAC-Ujbuda (#8) in Budapest in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Atomeromu will play on the road against PINKK-Pecsi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
