Regular Season Round 12: Szedeak - Falco KC 105-96

We should mention about the upset which took place in Szeged, where higher ranked Falco KC (7-5) lost to tenth ranked Szedeak (5-7) in a road game 96-105 on Sunday. Falco KC was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Szedeak made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 62.5 percentage. Szedeak looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Andras Molnar (193-83, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 25 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (198-80) who added 23 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Cameron Rundles (185-88, college: Wofford) with 25 points and 4 assists and Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Szedeak moved-up to eighth place, which they share with PVSK Pannon and KTE-Duna Aszfalt. Falco KC lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Sopron KC. Szedeak will meet higher ranked Alba (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Falco KC will play against the league's second-placed Kormend where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
