Regular Season Round 15: Neftekhimik T. - Tegas DR 64-67

The most exciting game of round 15 in the Superleague 3 took place in Tobolsk. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Neftekhimik T. (11-3) to ninth ranked Tegas DR (3-13) 67-64 on Monday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Neftekhimik T.. It was a good game for forward Viktor Dyachenko (198-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Ruslan Khakunov (192-90) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Center Mikhail Kautin (214-86) answered with 28 points and point guard Andrey Pavlov (191-86) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Neftekhimik T.Tegas DR moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Magnitka-Univ. Neftekhimik T. at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Tegas DR will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Neftekhimik T. will play at home against Kirov and is hoping to win this game.
