Regular Season Round 16: Rusichi K. - Dynamo-MGTU 66-47

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Dynamo-MGTU (15-1) in Kursk on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by third ranked Rusichi K. (11-5) 66-47. It ended at the same time the 15-game winning streak of Dynamo-MGTU. Rusichi K. forced 26 Dynamo-MGTU turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Anton Belov (202-81) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Kazulin Roman (187-94) who added 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (206-85) responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds and guard Alexander Churaev (193-92) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Newly promoted Rusichi K. maintains third position with 11-5 record having four points less than leader Dynamo-MGTU. Dynamo-MGTU at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. Rusichi K. are looking forward to face Kirov (#5) at home in the next round. Dynamo-MGTU will play against Elbrus Cherk. (#7) in Cherkessk and is hoping to win this game.
