Dynamo Kursk looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Spartak Noginsk's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dynamo Kursk made 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American power forward Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-90, college: Stanford) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds and international center Irina Osipova (195-81) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Dynamo Kursk players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Raisa Andrianova (180-89, agency: LBM Management) with 10 points and 8 rebounds and guard Evgeniya Korotygina (180-93) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dynamo Kursk maintains third position with 10-2 record having just two points less than leader UMMC. Spartak Noginsk at the other side keeps the eighth place with nine games lost. Dynamo Kursk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
