Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Spartak Vidnoye (8-4) smashed at home 9th ranked Dyn.-GUVD (2-10) 86-54 on Monday. Spartak Vidnoye dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Dyn.-GUVD's 30. Spartak Vidnoye forced 19 Dyn.-GUVD turnovers and outrebounded them 47-28 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Maria Vadeeva (193-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks and international forward Julia Gladkova (185-94) who added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Spartak Vidnoye players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian center Kayla Alexander (193-91, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (173-91) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Spartak Vidnoye maintains fifth position with 8-4 record. Dyn.-GUVD at the other side dropped to the tenth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Kazanochka. Spartak Vidnoye are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Dynamo Moscow (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dyn.-GUVD will play against the league's second-placed Nadezhda Orenburg and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
