Regular Season Round 13: Atomeromu - MAFC 112-76

A Division top team - Atomeromu (10-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked MAFC (3-10) in Paks 112-76. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to MAFC's 42. They outrebounded MAFC 44-27 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Atomeromu players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. International power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) stepped up and scored 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and international power forward Adam Toth (206-89) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Adam Kovacs (189-93) responded with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Indian-Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (201-87) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu maintains first place with 10-3 record, which they share with Szolnok. MAFC at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost. They share it with Marso NYKK. Atomeromu will play against Kaposvari (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MAFC will play against Marso NYKK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
