There was no surprise in Tula where 10th ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (5-17) was crushed by eighth ranked Arsenal (9-13) 90-66. Arsenal players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Viktor Uskov (183-86) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists. Stanislav Dubinin (198-90) accounted for 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Five Arsenal players scored in double figures. Coach Viktor Uskov's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. Forward Andrey Piterov (200-94) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Oleg Korchev (192-92) added 19 points and 5 steals respectively for Sojuz Zaretchny in the defeat. Arsenal moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Jaroslav. Sojuz Zaretchny lost their eleventh game in a row. Sojuz Zaretchny at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. Arsenal's next round opponent will be again Sojuz Zaretchny (#10) at home.
