Regular Season Round 11: ELTE-BEAC - UNIQA Eurol. 44-103

A Division top team - MKB Euroleasing (9-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked BEAC-Ujbuda (1-10) in Budapest 103-44. The game without a history. MKB Euroleasing led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BEAC-Ujbuda to just 6 points in second quarter. MKB Euroleasing dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to BEAC-Ujbuda's 32. They outrebounded BEAC-Ujbuda 46-23 including a 35-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. MKB Euroleasing shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by BEAC-Ujbuda's players. It was a great evening for international Debora Dubei (181-97) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). Serbian forward Aleksandra Crvendakic (188-96) helped adding 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Five MKB Euroleasing players scored in double figures. Guard Sara Pusztai (170-87) responded with 17 points and power forward Judit Barnai (190-94) scored 5 points and 6 rebounds. MKB Euroleasing have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-2 record, which they share with UNI Gyor. BEAC-Ujbuda lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with ZTE NKK and Vasas Akademia. MKB Euroleasing is looking forward to face PINKK-Pecsi (#5) at home in the next round. BEAC-Ujbuda will play against Miskolc and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
