Regular Season Round 24: Dynamo-CBK - Tambov 60-75

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Tambov (7-14) beat bottom-ranked Dynamo-CBK (5-18) in Stavropol 75-60. They outrebounded Dynamo-CBK 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Vladislav Solovyev (192-88) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Georgiy Kaminskiy (182-87) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Tambov players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Aleksey Ostrovskiy (202-93) who recorded 18 points and naturalized Kazakhstan forward Nail Gafarov (198-88) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Tambov maintains ninth position with 7-14 record. Dynamo-CBK at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom place with 18 games lost. Tambov's next round opponent will be higher ranked Arsenal (#8) in Tula and it may be quite challenging game. Dynamo-CBK will play at home against Sojuz Zaretchny and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
