Tenth-ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (5-17) was very close to win a game against eighth ranked Arsenal (9-13) in Tula. Arsenal managed to secure only two-point victory 64-62. However their fans expected easier game. Arsenal made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Viktor Uskov (183-86) who scored 19 points and 6 assists. Dmitriy Babushkin (202-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Arsenal's coach Viktor Uskov allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Stanislav Sarafankin (195-93) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and guard Oleg Korchev (192-92) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Sojuz Zaretchny will play against Dynamo-CBK in Stavropol and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
