Seventh-ranked Elbrus Cherk. (5-13) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Dynamo-MGTU (17-1) in Cherkessk on Wednesday. The visitors from Maykop managed to secure only three-point victory 70-67. However their fans expected much easier game. Guard Alexander Churaev (193-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points. Forward Ilya Khmara (194-89) contributed with 17 points for the winners.
