Neftyanik (#4) was upset in Omsk by seventh ranked BC Rostov 68-44. Forward Anastasia Maksimova (182-92, agency: IPSA) notched 15 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and forward Yana Kotova (186-88) supported her with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Even 11 points and 8 rebounds by forward Elena Fedotova (186-90) did not help to save the game for Neftyanik. Power forward Kseniya Chinaeva (180-89) added 5 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Neftyanik's coach Elena Lazutkina gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. BC Rostov maintains seventh position with 9-13 record. Neftyanik at the other side dropped to the third place with eight games lost.
