Very expected game in Tobolsk where 8th ranked Magnitka-Univ. (3-15) was defeated by second ranked Neftekhimik T. (15-5) 69-58 on Saturday. Neftekhimik T. forced 19 Magnitka-Univ. turnovers. Forward Anton Borisov (197-91) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Denis Smetanin (200-88) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Yegor Tikanov (194-92) with 10 points and 5 rebounds and center Maxim Bogaevsky (207-93) scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
