Not a big story in a game in Szombathely where 14th ranked Jaszberenyi (1-14) was outplayed by seventh ranked Falco KC (9-6) 100-76 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 100-76. Falco KC looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Serbian forward Zarko Comagic (200-85, college: N.Arizona, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Five Falco KC players scored in double figures. Falco KC's coach Laszlo Kalman felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Mike Caffey (183, college: Long Beach St.) who recorded 27 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import center Garrick Sherman (210-90, college: Notre Dame) added 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively. Falco KC maintains seventh place with 9-6 record. Jaszberenyi lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Falco KC will face higher ranked Sopron KC (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jaszberenyi will play against Szedeak (#10) and hope to win that game.
