The game between 10th ranked BEAC-Ujbuda (1-12) and fourth ranked PEAC-Pecs (9-4) in Budapest on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Pecs outscored BEAC-Ujbuda 69-41. The game without a history. PEAC-Pecs led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. PEAC-Pecs outrebounded BEAC-Ujbuda 42-28 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American power forward Destiny Williams (185-91, college: Baylor) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and her fellow American import guard Robyn Parks (183-92, college: VCU, agency: Regeneracom Sports) accounted for 18 points. Power forward Judit Barnai (189-94) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Szilvia Horvath (179-86) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively for BEAC-Ujbuda in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. PEAC-Pecs have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 9-4 record. BEAC-Ujbuda lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. PEAC-Pecs will meet at home league's leader MKB Euroleasing in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BEAC-Ujbuda will play against ZTE NKK (#8) in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
