Leader Ruskon-Mordovia delivered the twenty first victory. This time they beat 8th ranked Tambov (9-16) 78-74. Ruskon-Mordovia made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Tambov was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for guard Dmitriy Zagnoyko (196-85) who led his team to a victory with 27 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Center Vladimir Lidyaev (203-87) contributed with 6 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Maksim Kuznetsov (188-90) answered with 13 points and 6 assists and forward Nikita Gresev (204-88) added 6 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Tambov. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ruskon-Mordovia (21-2) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Newly promoted Ruskon-Mordovia maintains first place. Tambov at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Arsenal. Ruskon-Mordovia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tambov will play again at home against the league's leader Ruskon-Mordovia (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
