Regular Season Round 28: Jaroslav - Dynamo-CBK 68-88

We should mention about the upset which took place in Jaroslav, where 7th ranked Jaroslav (12-14) was outleveled at home by tenth ranked Dynamo-CBK (8-18) 88-68 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Jaroslav. Dynamo-CBK forced 26 Jaroslav turnovers. Strangely Jaroslav outrebounded Dynamo-CBK 47-27 including 22 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Maksim Abyzov (192-90) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 assists and 5 steals and forward Igor Kaytnov (193-90) who added 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Dynamo-CBK players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Pavel Krykov (210-84) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and center Artem Moskin (202-91) scored 6 points and 13 rebounds. Jaroslav's coach Tadas Stockus tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Dynamo-CBK maintains tenth position with 8-18 record. Jaroslav at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost. Dynamo-CBK will meet league's second-placed Spartak St.Petersburg on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Jaroslav will play against Arsenal (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
