Very important is a road loss of third ranked Miskolc (9-4) against fifth ranked PINKK-Pecsi (9-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Miskolc was defeated by PINKK-Pecsi in Pecs 89-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Miskolc. The game was mostly controlled by PINKK-Pecsi. Miskolc was better in fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 25-of-28 charity shots (89.3 percent) during the game. Miskolc was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Swedish forward Binta Drammeh (180-92) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and British power forward Chantelle Handy (188-87, college: Marshall) supported her with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Four PINKK-Pecsi players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds by American power forward Alyssia Brewer (190-90, college: UCLA) did not help to save the game for Miskolc. International guard Timea Czank (177-86) added 20 points for the guests. Miskolc's coach Maikel Lopez rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. PINKK-Pecsi moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cegledi EKK and PEAC-Pecs. Miskolc at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. PINKK-Pecsi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Pecs to the arena PEAC-Pecs.
