Superleague 2 round 30 most important game was a victory of Tambov over higher ranked Cheboksari 74-52 on Sunday night. Tambov made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Vladislav Solovyev (192-88) who led his team to a victory with 8 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Maksim Kuznetsov (188-90) contributed with 11 points for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tambov have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Tambov maintains eighth position with 12-16 record. Cheboksari at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Tambov are looking forward to face higher ranked Stroitiel Engels (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cheboksari will play against the league's second-placed Spartak St.Petersburg where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
