No shocking result in a game in Surgut where third ranked Universitet-Yugra (11-6) defeated 8th ranked Parma (8-9) 77-73. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Parma was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian Nikola Lepojevic (195-82, agency: BeoExcell) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Alexander Savenkov (205-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four Universitet-Yugra players scored in double figures. Forward Konstantin Bulanov (201-90) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Sergey Chernov (186-86) added 18 points in the effort for Parma. Universitet-Yugra maintains third position with 11-6 record having four points less than leader Sakhalin. Parma lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Universitet-Yugra will play against bottom-ranked Izhevsk (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Parma will play against MBA Moscow (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
