11th ranked Szedeak (6-11) was outscored at home by fourth ranked Sopron KC (12-5) with the biggest margin this round 102-60 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Sopron KC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Sopron KC looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Szedeak's players. Croatian guard Damir Rancic (199-83, agency: XL Basketball Agency) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and American swingman Kevin Tiggs (196-84, college: E.Tenn.St.) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Sopron KC's coach Balazs Sabali felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Clayton Vette (202-88, college: Winona St.) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Chip Armelin (193-90, college: S.Mississippi) scored 16 points. Sopron KC have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with ZTE KK and Alba. Szedeak at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Sopron KC is looking forward to face Kormend (#6) at home in the next round. Szedeak will play against the league's second-placed Atomeromu (#2) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
