Regular Season Round 15: UNIQA Eurol. - ZTE NKK 81-54

Leader MKB Euroleasing delivered the twelfth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked ZTE NKK (3-12) 81-54 in Sopron. The game was mostly controlled by MKB Euroleasing. ZTE NKK managed to win second period 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 31-of-38 free shots (81.6 percent) during the game. MKB Euroleasing forced 23 ZTE NKK turnovers and outrebounded them 44-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for international center Bernadett Hatar (208-94) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Virag Weninger (178-97) helped adding 17 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four MKB Euroleasing players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Krisztina Velkey (175-92, college: ORU) with 15 points and the former international center Zsofia Horvath (191-82) scored 4 points and 9 rebounds. MKB Euroleasing (12-2) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. Loser ZTE NKK keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. MKB Euroleasing will meet Vasas Akademia (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ZTE NKK will play against PEAC-Pecs and hope to secure a win.
