Leader Ruskon-Mordovia delivered the twenty fifth victory on Wednesday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Jaroslav (14-16) 88-84 in Saransk. Ruskon-Mordovia made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Dmitriy Zagnoyko (196-85) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Roman Semerninov (200-81) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Forward Petr Shapovalov (203-93) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and forward Alexander Fomin (206-86, agency: Interperformances) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ruskon-Mordovia have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Ruskon-Mordovia maintains first position with 25-3 record. Jaroslav at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth place with 16 games lost. Ruskon-Mordovia will meet at home league's second-placed Spartak St.Petersburg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
