A Division top team - MKB Euroleasing (13-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Vasas Akademia (1-14) in Budapest 99-49. The game without a history. MKB Euroleasing led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Vasas Akademia's 34 and made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game, while Vasas Akademia only scored six points from the stripe. MKB Euroleasing forced 21 Vasas Akademia turnovers and outrebounded them 50-25 including a 35-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. MKB Euroleasing players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Vasas Akademia's players. Vasas Akademia was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of international center Bernadett Hatar (208-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Serbian forward Aleksandra Crvendakic (188-96) who added 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four MKB Euroleasing players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Lilla Adamecz (182-92) responded with 8 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Noemi Czirjak (179-93) scored 8 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MKB Euroleasing have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-2 record. Vasas Akademia lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 14 games lost. MKB Euroleasing will play against league's second-placed UNI Gyor at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vasas Akademia will play against BEAC-Ujbuda (#10) in Budapest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
