Regular Season Round 20: Falco KC - MAFC 86-63

Date: February 27, 2016
Not a big story in a game in Szombathely where 12th ranked MAFC (5-15) was rolled over by seventh ranked Falco KC (11-9) 86-63 on Saturday. The game without a history. Falco KC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Falco KC outrebounded MAFC 48-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds. Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American point guard Deville Smith (183-91, college: Tenn-Martin) produced 17 points and 7 assists and guard Levente Misek (193-93) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four MAFC players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Falco KC maintains seventh position with 11-9 record. Loser MAFC keeps the twelfth place with 15 games lost. Falco KC will meet Kaposvari (#8) on the road in the next round. MAFC will play against Szedeak (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
