No shocking result in a game when second ranked Neftekhimik T. (22-6) crushed 5th ranked Sogdiana-Skif (15-13) in Tobolsk 95-74. They outrebounded Sogdiana-Skif 39-27 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Denis Smetanin (200-88) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Ilya Kulakov chipped in 22 points. Five Neftekhimik T. players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Dmitriy Prikhodko (185-92) responded with 22 points and 5 steals and guard Aleksey Almushev (198-90) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Neftekhimik T.. They maintain second place with 22-6 record having just two points less than leader Dynamo-MGTU. Sogdiana-Skif at the other side keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
