Superleague 3 top team - Dynamo-MGTU (25-5) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Magnitka-Univ. (11-21) in Magnitogorsk 85-54. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Magnitka-Univ.. Dynamo-MGTU dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Magnitka-Univ.'s 22. They outrebounded Magnitka-Univ. 39-21 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Aleksey Shirokov (205-89) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Artem Gaposhin (185-91) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Dynamo-MGTU players scored in double figures. Swingman Yegor Tikanov (194-92) produced 19 points and Alexandr Terkin (186-95) added 10 points respectively for the hosts. Magnitka-Univ.'s coach Artur Bigeev gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Dynamo-MGTU maintains first position with 25-5 record. Loser Magnitka-Univ. keeps the sixth place with 21 games lost. Dynamo-MGTU will meet at home Sogdiana-Skif (#5) in the next round. Magnitka-Univ. will play against Stary Sobol NT and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
