A very interesting game took place in Kecskemet. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 9th ranked KTE-Duna Aszfalt (9-14) to twelfth ranked MAFC (7-16) 101-98 on Wednesday evening. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Strangely KTE-Duna Aszfalt outrebounded MAFC 37-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by KTE-Duna Aszfalt helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Rashad Anderson (196-83, college: Connecticut) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!). His fellow American import point guard Deville Smith (183-91, college: Tenn-Martin) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (on 16-of-20 shooting from the field) and Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) added 27 points in the effort for KTE-Duna Aszfalt. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. MAFC moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Szedeak. KTE-Duna Aszfalt at the other side keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. MAFC's next round opponent will be Jaszberenyi (#13) at home.
