Regular Season Round 23: Alba - Atomeromu 108-103

There was a change at the A Division leadership position after last games. Round 23 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Atomeromu (18-5). They were defeated by fourth ranked Alba (16-7) 108-103 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Atomeromu. Alba made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Atomeromu 44-31 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Atomeromu helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American forward Tristan Spurlock (203-91, college: Cent.Florida) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Anthony Myles (196-92, college: Rider) helped adding 21 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists and point guard Akos Kovacs (183-88) scored 17 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Alba maintains fourth place with 16-7 record. Atomeromu at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by ZTE KK who have the same record. Atomeromu will play next round against Marso NYKK trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Alba will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Falco KC in Szombathely.
