Regular Season Round 26: Sakhalin - TEMP-SUMZ 84-65

Leader Sakhalin delivered the nineteenth win on Friday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (12-9) 84-65 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was international Aleksandr Gudumak (203-93, agency: Alti Sport) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Artem Komolov (194-93) chipped in 6 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Sakhalin's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Uzbekistani center Sergey Karaulov (212-82) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Anton Glazunov (181-86) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Sakhalin (19-2) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Newly promoted Sakhalin maintains first position. TEMP-SUMZ Revda at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Sakhalin are looking forward to face Ural Ekaterinburg (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will have a break next round.
