Another exciting game for Starwings (8-16) which played on the court of 5th ranked Lugano Tigers (15-8). Eighth ranked Starwings won 91-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lugano Tigers. Starwings forced 19 Lugano Tigers turnovers. Lugano Tigers were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Lorenza Ross (190-93, college: Lincoln Memorial) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 assists and Canadian-Polish Murphy Burnatowski (200-90, college: Colgate) who added 22 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Derek Stockalper (196-84, college: Cal Poly - SLO) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Terrance Henry (206-89, college: Mississippi) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Starwings maintains eighth position with 8-16 record. Lugano Tigers at the other side keep the fifth place with eight games lost. Starwings will play against league's second-placed Fribourg on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Lugano Tigers will play against Geneve Lions and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
