Regular Season Round 28: Tegas DR - Neftekhimik T. 107-110

Ninth-ranked Tegas DR (7-25) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Neftekhimik T. (24-6) in Dinskoy Rayon. The visitors from Tobolsk managed to secure only three-point victory 110-107. However their fans expected much easier game. Tegas DR was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Maksim Kempel (200-93) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Sergey Panin (179-91) who added 21 points (made all of his seven free throws) during the contest. At the losing side forward Viktor Dyachenko (198-92) responded with 38 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and guard Klim Muskulis (185-88) scored 26 points and 5 assists. Five Neftekhimik T. and four Tegas DR players scored in double figures. Neftekhimik T. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 24-6 record having 4 victories less than leader Dynamo-MGTU. Tegas DR at the other side stay dead last with 25 lost games. Neftekhimik T. will play against Kirov (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tegas DR will have a break next round.
