Very important is a road loss of third ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (25-13) against seventh ranked Tambov (18-20) on Thursday night. Visiting Spartak St.Petersburg was defeated by Tambov in a tough game in Tambov 77-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Spartak St.Petersburg. Newly promoted Tambov maintains seventh position with 18-20 record. Spartak St.Petersburg at the other side keeps the third place with 13 games lost. Tambov will play against bottom-ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (#11) on the road in the next round. Spartak St.Petersburg will play against Jaroslav (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
