Top ranked Ruskon-Mordovia (31-7) recorded its seventh loss on the court of sixth ranked Cheliabinsk on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by Cheliabinsk 105-83. They made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. Cheliabinsk forced 23 Ruskon-Mordovia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Ruskon-Mordovia's players. 29 personal fouls committed by Ruskon-Mordovia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Cheliabinsk maintains sixth position with 19-18 record. Ruskon-Mordovia at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still keeps top place with seven games lost. Cheliabinsk are looking forward to face league's second-placed AltajBasket in Barnau in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ruskon-Mordovia will play on the road against Cheboksari and is hoping to win this game.
