The game between Top Four teams took place in Sopron. First ranked host MKB Euroleasing (15-2) smashed second-ranked UNI Gyor (12-5) 83-56. The game was mostly controlled by MKB Euroleasing. UNI Gyor managed to win third quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MKB Euroleasing dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to UNI Gyor's 32. They outrebounded UNI Gyor 40-29 including 26 on the defensive glass. American center Devereaux Peters (187-89, college: Notre Dame) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners and the former international guard Zsofia Fegyverneky (178-84, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four MKB Euroleasing players scored in double figures. MKB Euroleasing's coach Laszlo Sterbencz felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Cyesha Goree (190-93, college: Michigan, agency: Interperformances) responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian Monika Grigalauskyte (190-92) scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. MKB Euroleasing have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-2 record. UNI Gyor at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Miskolc and PEAC-Pecs. MKB Euroleasing are looking forward to face Cegledi EKK (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. UNI Gyor will play against BEAC-Ujbuda (#9) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
