Third ranked PEAC-Pecs (12-5) crushed at home 7th ranked Atomeromu (7-10) by 37 points 90-53, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. PEAC-Pecs led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Atomeromu's 26. PEAC-Pecs forced 20 Atomeromu turnovers. It was a great shooting night for PEAC-Pecs especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. International forward Dorina Zele (185-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Destiny Williams (185-91, college: Baylor) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four PEAC-Pecs players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Maja Scekic (169-87) answered with 16 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Anna Mansare (188-92, agency: Interperformances) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Atomeromu. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for PEAC-Pecs. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Miskolc and UNI Gyor. Atomeromu at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. PEAC-Pecs' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Miskolc on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atomeromu will play against ZTE NKK (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
