Bottom-ranked BEAC-Ujbuda managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of eight consecutive losses. This time newly promoted BEAC-Ujbuda won against ninth-ranked Vasas Akademia in Budapest 63-53. Vasas Akademia was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 39-24 second half run of BEAC-Ujbuda. Forward Krisztina Sule (178-87) nailed 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Judit Barnai (189-94) accounted for 15 points and 12 rebounds. Polish guard Katarzyna Cymmer (172-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and center Lilla Zsilinszky (188-95) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Vasas Akademia in the defeat. BEAC-Ujbuda (2-15) moved-up to ninth place. Vasas Akademia lost their twelfth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. BEAC-Ujbuda will play against higher ranked UNI Gyor (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vasas Akademia will play against PINKK-Pecsi (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.
