Regular Season Round 28: Samara-SGEU - Parma 65-75

The most shocking disappointment of round 28 was a home defeat of 4th ranked Samara-SGEU (14-9) to seventh ranked Parma (13-10) 75-65. Parma dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Samara-SGEU's 32. Worth to mention a great performance of center Ivan Nelyubov (207-88, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Maxim Dybovskiy (192-87, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Parma players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Grigoriy Andreev (193-90) scored 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Parma have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 13-10 record. Samara-SGEU at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Ryazan. Parma are looking forward to face Khimky-Podmoskoye (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Samara-SGEU will play against Izhevsk (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
