No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Monthey (19-7) smashed at home 7th ranked Boncourt (9-17) 90-70 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Monthey. Boncourt managed to win second period 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Monthey forced 22 Boncourt turnovers. The former international forward Marko Mladjan (205-93) scored 27 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian-Serbian guard Goran Ikonic (196-80, agency: BeoExcell) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists during the contest.
