Another exciting game was played in Paks between Kormend and Atomeromu where Kormend (1-0) beat Atomeromu (0-1) on the road 81-73. Atomeromu was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 42-28 second half run of Kormend. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Perry Petty (185-88, college: UTRGV) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Petty is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Kormend players scored in double figures. American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) answered with 26 points and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and international power forward Adam Toth (206-89) added 13 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Atomeromu. Atomeromu's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kormend will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
