Second Stage Round 1: Falco KC - KTE-Duna Aszfalt 76-74

A very interesting game took place in Szombathely. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of KTE-Duna Aszfalt (0-1) to Falco KC (1-0) 76-74 on Saturday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KTE-Duna Aszfalt won fourth quarter 23-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Falco KC players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American swingman Bradford Burgess (198-90, college: VCU, agency: Octagon Europe) nailed 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for KTE-Duna Aszfalt in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Falco KC's next round opponent will be Kaposvari on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week.
