An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Miskolc. Second ranked Miskolc faced one of their biggest challengers PEAC-Pecs. Host Miskolc (13-5) defeated guests from Pecs (12-6) 67-50. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of PEAC-Pecs. It was a key game for the second position in the league. But then Miskolc had a 20-7 second period charge getting the lead and PEAC-Pecs were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 50-67. It was a good game for American power forward Alyssia Brewer (190-90, college: UCLA) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international center Dora Horti (193-87, agency: 1x1 Sports) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Destiny Williams (185-91, college: Baylor) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian-Bosnian center Dragana Stankovic (195-95) added 7 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for PEAC-Pecs. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Miskolc maintains second position with 13-5 record having just three points less than leader UNIQA Eurol., which they share with UNI Gyor. PEAC-Pecs at the other side dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with PINKK-Pecsi.
