First defeat of league's leader Alba (1-1) against Szolnok (1-0) 88-86 was the most important game of the last round. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 31-26 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Alba helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). International point guard Krisztian Wittmann (184-85) contributed with 8 points and 9 assists for the winners. Canadian point guard Kenny Chery (180-92, college: Baylor) replied with 25 points and the former international Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Alba. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
