Second Stage Round 4: Jaszberenyi - Marso NYKK 101-100

Bottom-ranked Marso NYKK (0-3) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 101-100 loss to thirteenth ranked Jaszberenyi (2-1) in Jaszberenyi. It looked good early as Marso NYKK took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Jaszberenyi had a 27-18 second period charge getting the lead and Marso NYKK was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 100-101. The winners were led by Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86, agency: Beo Basket) who scored that evening 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Mike Caffey (183, college: Long Beach St.) supported him with 23 points and 4 assists. Even 28 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) by American guard Tate Unruh (193-90, college: N.Colorado, agency: Inception Sports) did not help to save the game for Marso NYKK. Serbian power forward Zoran Krstanovic (204-82, agency: HMS) added 22 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Five Jaszberenyi and four Marso NYKK players scored in double figures. Marso NYKK's coach Erno Sitku rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jaszberenyi moved-up to twelfth place in Division. Marso NYKK at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Jaszberenyi's next round opponent will be higher ranked Szedeak (#11) in Szeged and it may be quite challenging game. Marso NYKK will play at home against MAFC and hopes to get finally their first victory.
