Marso NYKK's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat MAFC (1-3) 91-78. The game without a history. Marso NYKK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Marso NYKK outrebounded MAFC 44-22 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Zoran Krstanovic (204-82, agency: HMS) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Tate Unruh (193-90, college: N.Colorado, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Marso NYKK's coach Erno Sitku allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Rashad Anderson (196-83, college: Connecticut, agency: KBA/Omnia Europe) produced 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Cavell Johnson (205-85, college: UMBC) added 20 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Marso NYKK maintains fourteenth place in Division with 1-3 record. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
